Tourist Flows to Kyrgyzstan Continue to Grow
According to the State Agency for Tourism Development, the momentum of recent years speaks for itself: 2023 — around 8 million tourists, 2024 — 8.6 million, 2025 — already 10.5 million. According to President Sadyr Japarov, the country now welcomes some 13 million visitors annually — nearly twice its own population — contributing directly to GDP growth of around 4–5%.
Notably, in the first half of 2026 alone, more than 1.5 million citizens of Uzbekistan visited Kyrgyzstan. Travel between the two countries is possible with an internal ID card, making trips particularly convenient for residents of the region.
