The appointment of a new director for the International Institute of Central Asia
By the order of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, dated December 29, 2023, Javlon Abdujalolovich Vakhabov was appointed as the Director for the International Institute of Central Asia (IICA).
Until this point, J. Vakhabov had served as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United States, Canada, and Brazil from 2017 to 2023.
J. Vakhabov has assumed his duties.
