Today, President of Turkmenistan S. Berdimuhammedov received Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V. Volodin, who arrived on a visit at the head of the parliamentary delegation of the Russian Federation.

Issues of development of the Turkmen-Russian partnership in various spheres were discussed during the meeting.

Particular attention was paid to the expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.

The visit of the State Duma delegation headed by Speaker V. Volodin to Turkmenistan takes place on January 29-30.
