The sides discussed the expansion and development of the textile industry, personnel training and diversity of labour migration.
K.Davlatzoda noted that a lot of work has been done in the direction of training and education of workers, providing the needs of the labour market of the Republic of Korea with labour force.
During the meeting they discussed relevant information and proposals for further initiatives, development and strengthening of cooperation between the Ministry of Labour, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Representative Office of the Korea International Cooperation Agency in the Republic of Tajikistan.
The KOICA office in Tajikistan was officially opened in February 2022 and aims to improve the effectiveness of aid programmes through policy discussions and demand studies in areas such as industry, energy, transport, labour migration and training of the country's professionals targeting higher education institutions.
