The President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of fresh groundwater exploration
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the relevance of exploration and identification of new deposits of fresh groundwater in the country during the regular meeting of the Government.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov, who is in charge of the fuel and energy sector, specialists of the State Corporation "Turkmengeologiya" are currently conducting regional hydrogeological surveys using modern technologies.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of carrying out such works on a scientific basis and ordered to strengthen the material and technical base of the Corporation as necessary.
