In 2023, the trade turnover between Turkmenistan and China exceeded $10 billion.
According to the electronic publication "Greater Asia", the volume of mutual trade between Turkmenistan and China totalled more than $10bn by the end of 2023.
According to the source, only last December the trade turnover between the two countries exceeded $863.1 million.
Turkmen exports accounted for most of the bilateral trade turnover. Thus, Turkmenistan exported various goods worth $9 billion 633 million 228 thousand to China in 2023.
During the reporting period, the Turkmen side imported Chinese products worth about $956.8 million.
The main product exported from Turkmenistan to China is high-quality natural gas supplied through the Turkmenistan-China gas pipeline.
