The sword of the founder of the State of Qatar Sheikh Jasim bin Mohammed bin Thani is the highest state symbol of Qatar. It is personally awarded by the Emir of Qatar to monarchs, princes, as well as heads of state for services to the State of Qatar and all mankind.

The first foreign leader to be presented with the sword was King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia (2016). The sword was later presented to Sultan Haisam bin Tarek of Oman (2021) and King Philip VI of Spain (2022)

The symbol is an exact copy of the sword of Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed bin Thani (1827-1913), the founder of the State of Qatar. The scabbard is made of yellow gold (18 carat) and is decorated on both sides. The blade is made of precious stainless steel, the hilt is made of camel bone and inlaid with agate and tourmaline.
