"Indeed, the Games of the Future is a unique format. It is a symbiosis of IT intelligence combined with sports. We have brought a solid team here and hope for certain positive results," the Kazakh leader emphasised.
Kasym-Jomart Tokayev noted the positive dynamics of bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.
"The Russian economy, despite very difficult conditions, has achieved great success. Naturally, this has a positive impact on the course of our co-operation and on the implementation of the agreements that we reached during your state visit to Kazakhstan last November. Both sides, the governments are successfully, in my opinion, working on the implementation of the agreements. There are already concrete results," said the President of Kazakhstan.
In turn, Mr Putin thanked Mr Tokayev for his participation in the opening ceremony of the Games of the Future and confirmed the commitment of the Russian side to further strengthen the strategic partnership with Kazakhstan.
"We have many participants from more than a hundred countries - 104 countries from different continents, Young people who are fond of both digital sports and real, traditional sports. As for bilateral relations, they are developing very successfully in almost all vital areas," the Russian President said.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the regional and global agenda.
