During the talks, the sides stressed the importance of implementing the documents signed during President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's visit to Turkey in October 2023. The diplomats noted the great potential of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Special attention was paid to the prospects of cooperation in the energy sector in light of the agreements reached at the Third Antalya Diplomatic Forum on 1 March with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

In addition, the participation of the Turkish side in the events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Makhtumkuli Fraghi and the declaration of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 was discussed.
