Tajikistan Boosts Armored Vehicle Production with $15M Investment
Tajikistan is set to enhance its armored vehicle production through a $15 million investment agreement with Sipar Group. The project will establish the assembly of 17 types of special vehicles, creating over 100 jobs at a plant capable of producing up to 120 vehicles annually.
This initiative aligns with Tajikistan's state program for accelerated industrialization (2020-2025). In May 2023, President Emomali Rahmon inaugurated the Sipar Guruh enterprise in Tursunzade, focusing on assembling military and civilian vehicles with components from the UAE-based STREIT GROUP.

The new vehicles will serve the Tajik armed forces and aim for future exports. Minister of Industry Sherali Kabir highlighted that these vehicles use Canadian technologies, meeting high regional standards. This development strengthens Tajikistan's industrial and defense capabilities.
