Kazakhstan’s Belt-Tightening Era Begins
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has issued a stark directive to his government: "It's time to tighten belts and live within our means."
Amid shifting global economic realities, he called for strict budget discipline, ensuring state funds are spent only on the most pressing needs.
Tokayev also emphasized the need for Kazakhstan to elevate its cooperation with neighboring countries, particularly in Central Asia.
