The Central Asia - Russia Think Tank Forum is to be held at the IICA.
On October 6, 2025, the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA) will host the Forum titled "Central Asia – Russia: Strategic Partnership in a Changing World.”
The event is organized by the IICA in partnership with the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund (Russia).
The forum will bring together representatives of leading think tanks, research institutions, government bodies, diplomatic missions, business circles, and universities from the countries of Central Asia and Russia.
The program includes thematic sessions on energy cooperation (from traditional resources to green energy), development of international transport corridors, joint responses to security challenges, improvement of migration policies, as well as digitalization and innovation as new drivers of growth.
The forum will serve as an important platform for open expert dialogue, exchange of views, and development of practical recommendations aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between the countries of Central Asia and Russia, ahead of the upcoming “Central Asia – Russia” Summit of Heads of State in Dushanbe.
