Japan is planning to hold the first summit with Central Asia in December
The Government of Japan is currently preparing for the inaugural summit with the five Central Asian countries. The meeting is expected to take place in Tokyo in mid-December.
"Japanese Prime Minister Takaichi Sanae hopes to make the summit an opportunity to deepen ties with the resource-rich nations, strengthen economic security and promote cooperation in a wide range of areas such as decarbonization technology and infrastructure building", the statement said.
