Kabul hosted the first "Afghanistan-Central Asia Consultative Dialogue"
During the meeting, representatives from the six nations discussed regional security, political engagement, and the development of trade and transit links.

Afghanistan's Foreign Minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, described the current approach of Central Asian countries as a successful model of regional cooperation built on pragmatism and mutual trust.

According to him, Afghanistan's trade volume with Central Asian countries is expected to reach $2.7 billion this year. In the medium term—within three to four years—the parties aim to increase this figure to $10 billion.
