The World Bank has revised Uzbekistan’s economic outlook upward, projecting GDP growth of 7.7% in 2025, 6.4% in 2026, and 6.7% in 2027.
The report highlights that Uzbekistan enters the coming years from a position of strength, supported by rising household incomes, robust investment, remittance inflows, and ongoing reforms.
The key challenge remains reducing the dominance of state owned enterprises and fostering private sector development to secure more productive and sustainable growth.
