Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan held phone call
During the conversation, Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Sadyr Japarov on the country’s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027–2028, describing it as recognition of the Kyrgyz Republic’s active foreign policy.
The leaders reaffirmed their readiness for close coordination on international platforms and discussed the practical implementation of agreements in the fields of economy, transport, and energy, as well as the schedule of upcoming high-level engagements.
