On the sidelines of the forum, M.Mishustin met with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Participants discussed the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, as well as further strengthening Uzbekistan–Russia relations of strategic partnership. Particular attention was given to expanding trade and economic cooperation, industrial collaboration, and joint projects across key sectors of the economy.

Addressing the plenary session of the forum, M.Mishustin highly commended the initiatives put forward by President Mirziyoyev at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. He underlined their practical relevance, noting that work is already underway to implement a number of these proposals. Particular attention was also drawn to the need to further expand investment cooperation and advance joint projects.
