President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on August 23–24.
Tashkent will host top-level talks and the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council. On the agenda: scaling up trade turnover, cooperation at the business and regional levels, transport and transit, and cultural and humanitarian exchange. A package of documents is expected to be signed at the conclusion of the visit.
