The sides also discussed cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States, as well as the broader agenda of engagement between Türkiye and Central Asia. Javlon Vakhabov noted that Türkiye plays an important role in transforming Turkic cooperation from a cultural idea into a practical platform for political, economic, transport, educational, and expert engagement.
For her part, Ambassador Ekinci underscored the Turkish side’s interest in further giving practical substance to the agreements reached between the two countries. She also emphasized the importance of maintaining close coordination on regional and international issues, including security, sustainable development, connectivity, and strengthening cooperation across the Turkic world.
