Outcomes of Uzbekistan's Attendance in SPIEF Reviewed in Moscow
On the sidelines of the 12th International Scientific and Expert Forum “Primakov Readings,” Director of the International Institute for Central Asia Javlon Vakhabov met with Director of the Cross-Sectoral Expertise Center “Third Rome” Natalia Stapran.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the outcomes of the participation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, as well as the initiatives put forward by the Head of State in the areas of technological industrialization, digitalization, human capital development, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

  1. Vakhabov noted that the proposals voiced by the Head of State reflect the country's commitment to forming new mechanisms of practical cooperation with Russia and are focused on launching long-term joint projects.

In turn, N. Stapran emphasized the strong applied potential of the initiatives presented, expressing interest in their expert elaboration and implementation jointly with Uzbek partners.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further develop cooperation between IICA and the Cross-Sectoral Expertise Center “Third Rome” in order to provide expert support for joint projects and initiatives.

The "Third Rome" Center for Cross-Sectoral Expertise — is an expert-analytical center established in 2024 at the Presidential Academy (RANEPA) by decision of the Head of State. Its main areas of activity include analytical support for issues of strategic and socio-economic development of the country, as well as the preparation of applied expert recommendations.
