IICA Establishes Partnership with American Research Center
During a visit to Washington, Javlon Vakhabov, Director of the International Institute for Central Asia (IICA), signed a cooperation agreement with Richard Hogland, Chairman of the Security and Policy Program and Board Member of the Caspian Policy Center.

In his remarks, the Chairman of the Caspian Policy Center emphasized the importance of establishing a partnership between the two research organizations, noting that this collaboration would create new opportunities for advancing scientific research and exchanging expertise in the fields of security, economics, and sustainable development.

The Director of IICA highlighted that the Caspian Policy Center is the first American think tank with which IICA has formed a partnership. He stated that the agreement would open new avenues for expanding scientific and expert exchanges, as well as further strengthening academic cooperation between the two think tanks.

Both parties noted that the agreement lays the groundwork for broader and more comprehensive collaboration, covering various research areas, including economics, politics, energy, and regional connectivity within the wider Trans-Caspian space.

The Caspian Policy Center, an independent and non-profit research organization based in Washington, focuses on key issues related to the Caspian region. The Center aims to become a leading platform for research and debate, contributing to a deeper understanding of the interrelated challenges facing the region.
