IICA Builds Practical Agenda for Implementing Uzbekistan's Presidential Initiatives from SPIEF-2026
On August 4, IICA Director Javlon Vakhabov met with Natalia Stapran, Director of the Third Rome Center for Cross-Sectoral Expertise.

The two discussed prospects for advancing engagement between think tanks, along with expert support for the initiatives put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026 (SPIEF-2026).

Particular attention went to proposals on advancing digital and industrial cooperation, deploying modern technological solutions, and building new production linkages.

Javlon Vakhabov pointed to the value of joint research aimed at working through the substance of Uzbekistan's presidential initiatives, identifying promising areas of Uzbekistan–Russia cooperation, and preparing practical proposals for delivering long-term projects.

For her part, Natalia Stapran confirmed her Center's interest in continuing professional dialogue with IICA along these lines and expressed readiness to organise joint expert events, including on economic issues, digitalisation, and strategic planning.

Following the meeting, both sides affirmed their readiness to develop the partnership between IICA and the Third Rome Center, including joint research, expert discussions, and events on current issues of Uzbekistan–Russia cooperation.
