During the meeting, the sides discussed further development of cooperation between IICA and ODI Global. Particular attention was paid to conducting joint research, expanding expert exchanges, and implementing practical initiatives following the Forum.
Javlon Vakhabov noted that the Forum should serve as a starting point for sustained expert dialogue aimed at developing concrete proposals to advance cooperation between Central Asia and the United Kingdom.
Rebecca Nadin emphasised that direct and regular exchanges between experts from Central Asia and the United Kingdom would contribute to a deeper understanding of developments in the region and help shape a more substantive cooperation agenda at the senior and highest levels.
In particular, the sides discussed mechanisms for promoting the outcomes of the Forum among relevant UK government institutions, parliamentarians, financial institutions, and business communities.
Following the meeting, the sides agreed to maintain regular working-level contacts and jointly support the practical implementation of the ideas and proposals put forward within the framework of the Forum.
