The agreement will contribute to the development of research cooperation, capacity building, and expanded expert engagement between the two organizations.
In particular, it provides for the implementation of joint programs and specialized training courses aimed at enhancing the professional competencies of young IICA researchers.

The agreement marks the first document signed by IICA with an Estonian institution. The parties noted that the partnership will help combine their expert and educational potential, while also contributing to the development of interregional cooperation between Central Asia and the Baltic States.
