IICA Research Fellow Takes Part in Field Research in Afghanistanв Афганистане
Senior Research Fellow of the International Institute for Central Asia Nodir Abdusattorov, as part of a delegation of Uzbekistan, took part in the "Central Asia–Afghanistan" Think Tank Forum held on June 16 in Kabul. Beyond the capital, the program of the visit also covered Mazar-i-Sharif.
In Kabul, N. Abdusattorov familiarized himself with the work of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and took part in a roundtable with its staff devoted to Uzbekistan–Afghanistan cooperation. A similar event was held in Mazar-i-Sharif with the staff of the Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the delegation also familiarized itself with sites of historical and cultural heritage — the Bagh-e Babur gardens and the Chihil Sutun palace in Kabul, as well as the Blue Mosque complex (the Shrine of Hazrat Ali) in Mazar-i-Sharif.
