The meeting focused on current regional developments in Central Asia, the impact of global shifts on the region, and opportunities for expanding cooperation in the Central Asia–Nordic format.
Javlon Vakhabov noted that Central Asia is becoming an increasingly active participant in international processes. He emphasized that the countries of the region are interested in expanding constructive engagement with Nordic partners, taking into account their experience in sustainable development, the green economy, digitalization, education, effective governance, and peace diplomacy.

For his part, Eivind Vad Petersson noted that developments in Central Asia are of significant interest to Norway and the Nordic countries, as the region is becoming an increasingly crucial part of the broader Eurasian agenda. It was noted that the development of the Central Asia–Nordic format could open new opportunities for exchanging experience, strengthening expert dialogue, and advancing practical cooperation in sustainable development, climate, water security, education, and regional resilience.
