The sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of Uzbekistan–Pakistan relations and touched on a number of issues on the regional and multilateral agenda.

Ambassador Tipu commended the momentum in the strategic partnership between the two countries, describing it as steady and forward-moving. He gave particular weight to advancing high-level political dialogue, noting that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's state visit to Pakistan in February confirmed the depth of mutual trust and the considerable room for expanding cooperation further.

Turning to practical cooperation, the two explored prospects for scaling up bilateral trade, investment engagement, and joint projects. They looked closely at broadening transport and logistics opportunities and at alternative trade routes that draw on Pakistan's transit and port capacity.

Advancing these tracks, they agreed, would help unlock the full trade and economic potential of both countries, bring Pakistani businesses into projects in Uzbekistan, and build durable transport links between Central and South Asia.

The conversation also covered regional security and current trends across South Asia. Both underscored the value of sustained dialogue and coordinated efforts in strengthening stability and creating the conditions for wider interregional cooperation.

Deepening ties between the analytical and expert communities of the two countries featured prominently. The Memorandums of cooperation concluded between IICA and Pakistan's leading think tanks laid the groundwork for joint research, expert events, and the exchange of analytical work.
