Mayor of Astana Zh. Kassymbek said that this year they plan to launch about 30 projects with a total investment of more than 118 billion tenge (about $ 256 million).

Zh. Kassymbek noted that private investments are attracted to the development of the city. More than 2 thousand jobs will be created. These are enterprises in the fields of industry, medicine, agro-industrial complex, 5 objects in the field of education (schools, kindergartens), 4 projects in the field of logistics, sports complexes.

Zh. Kassymbek together with the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development M. Karabayev visited Industrial Park No. 1, where they got acquainted with the work of a number of enterprises. These include the ModeX modular housing construction plant, an assembly plant of specialized equipment, a plant for the production of stained glass windows, windows, medical equipment, furniture, respirators.

The Mayor added that on behalf of the Head of State, comfortable conditions are being created to attract investment and support investors.
