This relevant document for further strengthening bilateral relations in the energy sphere reflects the intention of Turkmenistan and the United Emirates to attract investment partners for the development of the third stage of the Galkynyş supergiant field and their possible participation in the construction of a gas pipeline infrastructure designed to diversify export gas supplies.

The legal framework of Turkmen-Emirati relations in the fuel and energy sector was also enriched by the signed Memorandum of Cooperation between Turkmengaz Group and ADNOC, which expressed the desire of the parties to explore the possibilities of joint scientific, technical and economic cooperation in the field of reducing methane emissions into the atmosphere.
