According to the President's press service, during the meeting Zhaparov noted with satisfaction the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey in the whole range of areas.
At the same time, the sides discussed the planned visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Kyrgyzstan, as well as the holding of a meeting of the Supreme Council of Strategic Cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking about trade and economic cooperation, the head of state stressed the importance of the upcoming meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission in Ankara in terms of advancing the economic agenda.
The sides discussed a number of other issues both on the bilateral agenda and multilateral co-operation, including healthcare, energy and financial sectors, as well as regional security.
Hakan Fidan expressed gratitude to the President of Kyrgyzstan for his hospitality. He emphasised that thanks to the joint efforts of the leaders of the two countries, significant results have been achieved in recent years in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the head of state conveyed warm greetings to Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
