President signs amendments to the law on state guarantees for ethnic Kyrgyz resettling in Kyrgyzstan
President S. Zhaparov signed the Law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On State Guarantees for Ethnic Kyrgyz Resettling in the Kyrgyz Republic".
The law revises the concepts of "kairylman" and "kairylman status", providing, in addition to legal status, for social status, which will be confirmed by a document of the established standard (kairylman certificate).
The granting of social status and the availability of a confirming document will subsequently allow an ethnic Kyrgyz with the status of kairylman to receive state-guaranteed social benefits, including medical and sanitary assistance in state medical institutions, as well as land plots in the category of settlement lands for the construction and maintenance of a residential house and personal subsidiary farming.
The law comes into force 10 days after its official publication.
