The government forecasts Kazakhstan's economy to grow by at least 5.3% in 2024
According to the results of the last year, the economy of the republic adapted to the new conditions and got on the path of sustainable development. As a result of the measures taken, the economy grew by 5.1 per cent. All major sectors showed positive dynamics: construction - by 13.3%, trade - 11.3%, information and communication services - 7.1%, transport services - 6.9%, industry - 4.3%.

For the 2nd year in a row, FDI indicators are among the highest in the last decade - their annual volume is at the level of $26-28bn. Kazakhstan is the leader in terms of total foreign investment inflow among CIS countries.

For 11 months of 2023, foreign trade turnover grew by 2.2% to $126bn. The positive trade balance of the republic exceeded $16bn. The nomenclature of non-resource exports increased by 141 items.

International reserves of the country amounted to $96bn, including assets of the National Fund increased by $4bn and exceeded $60bn. International rating agencies confirmed the sovereign rating and investment reliability of Kazakhstan's economy.

At the end of 2024, the economy growth should be at least 5.3%.
