K.-J.Tokayev emphasized that mutually beneficial cooperation between Qatar Investment Authority and Samruk-Kazyna Fund may become the main driving force of economic partnership between the two countries.

In turn, Mansur Ibrahim Al-Mahmoud reported on plans to enter the financial market of Kazakhstan, as well as to implement a project for deep processing of agro-industrial products.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed the possibility of creating a Kazakh-Qatari private equity fund in the "Astana International Financial Center" (AIFC).

At the end of the meeting, the Head of State invited the Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority to participate in the Astana International Forum.
