The Third Dushanbe Conference on the Water Decade of Action will provide platforms to support the implementation of the goals and targets of the International Water Decade of Action, as well as the decisions of the UN Water Conference 2023 and update on the implementation of activities.

Accelerating the implementation of internationally agreed water-related goals and targets at the regional and national levels, in particular through the Global Framework for Accelerating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will be discussed.

The Third Dushanbe Conference on the Water Decade of Action will also be a mechanism to encourage governments, the United Nations and all other partners to translate intentions into actions and stimulate new commitments to be registered in the Water Agenda.
