On behalf of FIFA, Andrey Vashkevich, FIFA Regional Association Development Manager, and Ahmed Harraz, FIFA Senior Manager of Management Services, attended the meeting.

They congratulated the President and Vice-President of the KFF on their election and successful holding of the extraordinary congress, which was held in accordance with all norms of the Charter of the Kyrgyz Football Union.

The parties exchanged views on the development of football in the country. In addition, the leaders of the KFF thanked FIFA for their comprehensive support throughout the activities of the organisation.

The extraordinary congress was held today in Bishkek. All delegates of the Congress voted unanimously for the new head of the KFS, also unanimously elected a new composition of the Executive Committee of the KFS.

Nurdin Bukuev became the first vice-president. Previously, he held the post of Secretary General of the KFS. Vice-presidents Kanatbek Abdykadyrov and Akylbek Mamatov retained their positions. Also vice-president became a representative of FC Ilbirs D.B. Yeralkhanov.
