According to Rustam Karagoyshin, the total contribution of the holding company to support business totalled about 2.5 trillion tenge. In the future, in order to ensure quality and sustainable development of the economy, Baiterek intends to focus on comprehensive financing of growth points with priority on agriculture, manufacturing, infrastructure, transport and logistics, as well as housing construction.

K.-J.Tokayev was also reported on plans to provide measures aimed at supporting and developing competitive entrepreneurs. An important goal is to expand financing of small, medium and large business projects in all regions of Kazakhstan. In terms of SMEs, active support of entrepreneurs in small and single-industry towns, as well as in rural areas is envisaged.

The Head of State emphasised the importance of intensifying work in these areas and noted that the systematic implementation of the set tasks will allow to achieve significant results in strengthening the economy and improving the welfare of the citizens of Kazakhstan.
