The volume of bilateral trade turnover between Tajikistan and Russia reached $1.8bn.
The volume of bilateral trade turnover between the countries in 2023 increased by 2.5% and reached $1.8 billion, it was said on 21 February in Kazan at a meeting between President of Tajikistan E. Rahmon and President of the Russian Federation V. Putin. Putin.
It was noted that Russia retained its leadership in the total volume of foreign trade of Tajikistan.
A number of topical issues in other areas of mutual interest, such as energy, agriculture, investment, migration, education and culture, were also discussed and the necessary agreements were reached.
It should be noted that today co-operation between the two states in trade, economy, humanitarian and other areas has been established at a high level.
