Samarkand Congress Highlights Tashkent’s Centre of Islamic Civilization
At the 8th International Congress in Samarkand, titled "The Legacy of the Great Ancestors: The Foundation of the Third Renaissance," Uzbekistan's bold vision for the Centre of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent took center stage.
Scholars from across the globe presented innovative projects, including a 3D reconstruction of ancient Aksiket and a facsimile album featuring 114 historic Korans.
The congress also coincided with the Shark Taronalari festival, celebrating Uzbekistan's vibrant musical traditions, highlighting the nation's rich cultural heritage. This event underscores Uzbekistan's commitment to preserving and promoting its history on the global stage.
