Historic Trilateral Summit Between Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan Set for March 2025
The first-ever trilateral summit of the presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will take place in Khujand on March 31, 2025, announced Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baysalov during the 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
Baysalov highlighted the final agreement on the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border as a major diplomatic achievement. He emphasized that the agreement, which marks the conclusion of negotiations that began in 2002, was a testament to the power of dialogue, mutual respect, and trust in resolving even the most complex issues.

On February 21, 2025, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan signed the historic agreement to delineate their 980 km border, setting the stage for enhanced cooperation and regional stability.
