The following day, on April 23, the two leaders held bilateral talks in Cholpon-Ata, where they discussed a broad range of cooperation issues, including trade and economic relations, cultural and humanitarian ties, as well as regional initiatives.

 

Special emphasis was placed on the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Turkmen Development Fund.

 

As part of the visit, President Japarov and Chairman Berdimuhamedov also toured the “Rukh Ordo” cultural center in Cholpon-Ata. The Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, Mirbek Mambetaliev, guided the distinguished guests through the open-air museum, highlighting its role in preserving and promoting the spiritual heritage of Central Asian peoples.

 

The visit reaffirmed the mutual commitment of Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan to strengthening their strategic partnership and deep-rooted friendship.
