The importance of expanding cooperation in investment and technology was underlined, along with the role of the Turkmen-American Business Council. Opportunities for collaboration in education, science, and culture were also explored.

In a separate statement, Secretary Rubio noted that the United States intends to further strengthen economic and commercial ties with Turkmenistan, promote regional integration through the C5+1 diplomatic platform, and contribute to greater stability and security across Central Asia.

Both representatives agreed to maintain regular contacts to further strengthen the partnership.
