The discussions focused on strengthening the strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries, with particular attention to inter-parliamentary cooperation, trade and economic relations, and collaboration in the water sector.

President Tokayev commended the steady development of bilateral ties and emphasized the importance of Rustami Emomali’s visit for advancing dialogue. Emomali, in turn, conveyed greetings from President Emomali Rahmon and underlined Kazakhstan’s role as a reliable ally and strategic partner of Tajikistan.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev awarded Rustami Emomali the “Dostyk” Order, 2nd class, for his significant contribution to strengthening strategic partnership.
