President of Tajikistan met with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister
On August 28 in Dushanbe, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon received Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu.
The negotiations focused on political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, as well as preparations for the upcoming CIS and “Central Asia – Russia” summits.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a Treaty of Friendship, Good-Neighbourliness and Cooperation for the Development of Central Asia in the 21st Century was signed.
