Meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian Countries Concludes in Tashkent
On 12 November 2025, the Meeting of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asian Countries on the topic “Global and Regional Approaches to Ensuring Women’s Rights and Gender Equality” concluded its work in Tashkent.
During the thematic sessions, participants held in-depth discussions on women’s political participation, their economic empowerment, opportunities in entrepreneurship and education, as well as issues related to reproductive health.
Following the discussions, the Dialogue adopted the Tashkent Declaration, which acknowledges the ongoing regional efforts to advance women’s rights, promote gender equality, and support sustainable development across Central Asia.
The meeting also featured the presentation of a joint initiative by women leaders of the Central Asian countries aimed at further strengthening regional cooperation — an Appeal addressed to the Heads of State of Central Asia.
