✅ In his address, the President of Uzbekistan sincerely congratulated Turkmenistan on the 30th Anniversary of Permanent Neutrality, expressed his support the initiative of Turkmenistan to establish a University of Peace and Neutrality jointly with the United Nations.
✅ The Head of State highlighted Uzbekistan’s Samarkand Solidarity Initiative for Common Security and Prosperity, aimed at engaging all those committed to peace, harmony, and sustainable development in an inclusive dialogue.
✅ Promoting a global movement in support of a culture of peace and non-violence, strengthening trust in intergovernmental relations through political dialogue, and fostering an atmosphere of tolerance, mutual understanding, and solidarity worldwide are defined by the President of Uzbekistan as key priorities of the country’s upcoming chairmanship in the Non-Aligned Movement.
✅ The Head of State proposed declaring 2027 the Year of Preventive Diplomacy in order to support efforts to resolve conflicts in the interests of future generations. As part of this initiative, he called for the adoption of an action program that would include conferences, forums, and exchanges of parliamentary, public, and youth delegations.
✅ The Leader of Uzbekistan emphasized that the principles of mutual trust, respect, and unity form the basis of the policy to transform Central Asia into space of peace, cooperation, and good-neighborliness
✅ The President of Uzbekistan noted that the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of the Region, held last month in Tashkent, once again demonstrated the readiness of Central Asian countries to strengthen solidarity, take joint actions to ensure peace and stability in the region, and expand multifaceted economic cooperation.
✅ The Head of State underscored the special role of Turkmenistan’s constructive and peaceful policy in ensuring stability and development in Central Asia, as well as the alignment of approaches of two countries regarding support for Afghanistan’s peaceful development through its involvement in regional economic processes and the strengthening of infrastructure connectivity.
✅ The President of Uzbekistan expressed confidence that Turkmenistan's international initiatives and proposals, based on the noble ideas of peace and trust, will be reflected in the agenda of Ashgabat's chairmanship of the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of State of the region.
✅ Highlighting the importance of humanitarian cooperation in strengthening collaboration based on mutual respect, trust, and solidarity, the Leader of Uzbekistan proposed organizing the "Dialogue of Cultures" international humanitarian forum in Tashkent next year and launching the "Youth for Peace and Trust" regional program.
