President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay an official visit to Japan on December 18–20 at the invitation of Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi.
The President of Uzbekistan will also participate in the first summit of the Heads of state of the "Central Asia + Japan" Dialogue, which will address prospects for developing cooperation in key areas, including the green economy and sustainable development, strengthening interconnectivity and regional partnership, as well as human resource development.
The summit will conclude with the adoption of the Tokyo Declaration.
