The forum will bring together experts to discuss key trends and priorities in cooperation between the Central Asian states and the Federal Republic of Germany.
Participants will examine the current state and future directions of both bilateral and multilateral engagement, drawing on the outcomes of the Central Asia–Germany Summit held in Astana in September 2024 and the Central Asia–European Union Summit held in Samarkand in April 2025.
The discussion will bring together representatives of leading Central Asian countries and German research institutions, including the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), the Centre for East European and International Studies (ZOiS), and the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).
The forum aims to generate practical ideas for strengthening cooperation between Germany and Central Asia. Key conclusions and proposed initiatives will be reflected in the forum’s final outcomes.
