Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan on Foreign Policy addresses the Global Baku Forum
A delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by the Foreign Policy Advisor to the President, Amb.Abdulaziz Kamilov, took part in the XIII Global Baku Forum held on March 12–14 in Azerbaijan.

The forum, bringing together over 400 distinguished representatives from dozens of countries, took place under the theme: “Bridging divides in a world in transition”.

In his remarks, Amb.Kamilov stated that cooperation between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan has reached an unprecedented level of development. The key factors driving this dynamic, according to the Advisor, are the Treaty on Allied Relations and the personal trust-based dialogue between the heads of state Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Ilham Aliyev.

Amb.Kamilov paid particular attention to regional integration. He emphasized that Uzbekistan regards Azerbaijan as an integral part of Central Asia and recognizes tremendous potential in closer ties with Baku. According to the Advisor, a historic step in advancing the regional process was Azerbaijan’s accession to the Consultative Meetings of the Heads of Central Asian States.
