The First “Central Asia – European Union” Interparliamentary Cooperation Forum has started its work
The First “Central Asia – European Union” Interparliamentary Cooperation Forum has begun its work in the ancient and beautiful city of Samarkand. As previously reported, this initiative was put forward by the head of state at the “Central Asia – European Union” Summit held on April 4, 2025.

Representatives of the parliaments of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, members of the European Parliament, as well as experts, representatives of international organizations, civil society, academic circles, and the business community are taking part in the international dialogue.

Within the framework of the forum, important sessions will be held on such pressing issues as the current state of political dialogue and its future prospects, green transformation, economic interconnectivity, digital security, inclusive governance, and the modern significance of parliamentary diplomacy.
