Tashkent Hosts C5+1 Meeting of Culture Ministers of Central Asian States and the United States
Participants discussed prospects for cultural and humanitarian cooperation in advancing creative industries, digital projects, and professional exchanges, as well as broader engagement in film, theater, literature, and music.

Following the meeting, the sides signed a protocol of the Council of Ministers of Culture, reaffirming their commitment to the Joint Statement on the Preservation of Cultural Heritage adopted at the Central Asia–United States Summit in Washington.

On the sidelines, Uzbekistan's Minister of Culture Ozodbek Nazarbekov met with Aida Balayeva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, to discuss further development of bilateral cooperation in literature and the performing arts.
